Exhibition about a design studio
My exhibition is based on elements that are often repeated in the projects of my two designers Cristina Domínguez Lucas and Fernando Hernández-Gil. This includes, on the one hand, the strut, which occurs in many projects in different versions. Sometimes on the floor or in different sizes as an acoustic element on the ceiling. For my exhibition, I have given the panels a volume and created by the resulting staggering a spatial volume which the visitor can go through and discover.
Different strengths that come from the floor or even from the ceiling create different spatial situations. Sometimes the visitor discovers something only at eye level. On the other hand, an alcove will set in where the visitor can listen to an interview. The volume coming from the ground becomes a material archive in which the visitor can browse and feel the surface of the materials. The elements, which are extending almost from floor to ceiling with photographs of the projects, confront the visitor with a spatially extended impression. One feels like being in the project.
Another striking feature of the designers are the symmetries that are represented both in the interior design as in product design. This can be experienced through interactions with the mirrors for the visitor.
