Renovation of a Hunting Lodge into a Hotel

For Architekturwerkstatt 22 in Augsburg, I designed the interiors of a historic hunting lodge, focusing on preserving its original charm and handcrafted details. The project included the design of guest rooms, common areas, a meditation room, spa treatment spaces, and a sauna. A highlight is the show kitchen, designed as a communal space for cooking classes and shared dining during themed events.
Sustainability was key, with many materials refurbished or reused, and walls finished with clay plaster for a natural atmosphere. The design blends heritage-approved materials with modern elements, creating a light, inviting space for relaxation.

The project, completed in collaboration with Architekturwerkstatt 22 and Schreinerei Faller, carefully balanced the preservation of the historic structure with modern comfort.
