Inspired by the Olympic Village, Munich

The design idea of combining indoor and outdoor areas is demonstrated by floor-to-ceiling folding sliding windows across the entire width of the facade on both floors. At the ground floor, the outdoor terrace expands into a communicative entrance area. Layered overlays of translucent materials offer permeability and yet privacy. The split-level construction creates different levels with different uses. A shelving system in a regular sequence of horizontal layers, which extends vertically across all levels, supports the experience of the vertical airspace volume.
